Reliable. Safe.
Built to last.
For homeowners, this is what good plumbing means in plain English. The fix needs to hold. The work needs to be safe. What we install should outlive the warranty.
Three words, in that order, on purpose. They’re the brief we hold ourselves to on every job, whether that’s a tap cartridge in Cambridge Park or a backflow servicing schedule for a manufacturing site. The work needs to be reliable, the people on it need to be safe, and what we install needs to outlast the warranty.
PVS started because too many plumbers had stopped treating the work like a craft. Quoted on the way out, finished in a rush, gone before the silicone had cured. Industrial sites paying twice for jobs that should have been done right the first time.
We started PVS Plumbing to bring the standard back up. Industrial manufacturing is the core of what we do, and that work doesn’t tolerate shortcuts — compliance schedules don’t move, eyewash certifications don’t fudge, and a leak in a process water line costs real money the moment it starts.
The same approach we use on a manufacturing site is the one your hot water unit gets. Reliable. Safe. Built to last.
PVS is a small, hands-on business by design. Peter started in the trade back in 2000 and has spent most of the years since on industrial sites — manufacturing plants, breweries, brickworks, environmental services. The kind of work where one wrong fitting can shut a production line for a shift.
That background shapes how everything else runs. Domestic jobs get the same standard of finish, the same quality of fittings, and the same person standing behind the work. There’s no commission-driven sales rep and no off-shore call centre, and any subcontractors we bring on are former apprentices we trained ourselves.
Most plumbers have one. We need two because the work splits naturally into residential and industrial, and the way we talk about the work splits with it. The standard underneath doesn’t change.

For manufacturing sites, hospitality venues, facilities managers and compliance officers. Safety is the entry ticket. Quality is the reason we’ve held twenty-year accounts.
If we had to put the business on a single page, this would be it. These are the rules we work by, not the marketing slogans hanging on the workshop wall.
On industrial sites that means SWMS, lock-out tag-out, and PPE before the toolbox comes off the truck. In your home that same care extends to you and your family — we isolate the services we’re working on, work carefully when we can’t see what’s behind a wall, and leave the place safe to live in while the job’s underway.
We don’t fit budget-bin mixers in someone’s home and we don’t fit them on a production line. There’s a reason our clients have been with us for two decades.
One quote covers the scope as we understand it. If we discover something unforeseen mid-job, we stop, explain, and re-quote. You only continue if you agree.
The plumber on your job has our name on their shirt. Any subcontractors we bring on are former apprentices we trained ourselves, so whoever turns up works to the same standard and is briefed on the whole job.
Mat at the door, drop sheets where we work, off-cuts disposed of properly. On industrial sites the same standard applies, plus all waste manifested and the work area handed back signed-off.
If something we did fails inside the warranty window, we come back and fix it. No conditions, no excess. Manufacturer warranties on units pass through to you separately and we’ll handle the claim.
The most reliable signal a tradie is worth their salt is whether their clients keep renewing. These are the names that have. Some of them for more than twenty years.
The paperwork that lets us walk onto your site and into your home. Certificates of currency available for any commercial or industrial enquiry on request.
If those three words sound like the kind of plumber you’ve been trying to find, ring the workshop or send the job through. Either way, you’ll hear back from a real plumber, not a call centre.
