Builder needs a plumber.
Your builder has the scope drawn up, the trades program is going together, and they need a licensed plumber slotted in for rough-in and fit-off dates. We work to their program.
Bathroom rough-in, kitchen relocate, laundry rebuild, ensuite addition, extension wet areas. The plumbing scope that makes a renovation hang together. We work to your builder’s schedule, coordinate with the tilers and electricians, and certify the gas and water work at sign-off. Plumbing scope only, across Penrith and Western Sydney homes.
Most renovation calls land at our workshop in one of four shapes. Quick read on which one is yours so you know what to mention when you ring.
Your builder has the scope drawn up, the trades program is going together, and they need a licensed plumber slotted in for rough-in and fit-off dates. We work to their program.
You’re doing the demo, painting, tiling layout yourself, but need a licensed plumber for the actual plumbing scope. We can drop in for the part that legally needs a licence, hand back to you.
Converting a bedroom corner to an ensuite, adding a powder room, or running new wet areas as part of an extension. New supply lines, drainage, hot water relocation, the lot.
A previous renovation left you with a slow shower drain, dodgy hot water mixing, or a hidden leak that’s only just appeared. We diagnose, fix, and bring the install back up to standard.
We handle the plumbing scope only: water supply, drainage, hot water, gas, fixture rough-in and fit-off. We don’t do waterproofing, tiling, electrical, or full bathroom renovation as a one-stop service. If you want a single trade to manage the whole reno, you want a builder. If you want a licensed plumber who works cleanly inside one, that’s us.
Most renovation calls are one of these four scopes. Some renos combine two or three. Same plumber, same program, same standard for each.
The most common reno scope. Rough-in for shower, basin, bath and toilet, hot and cold supply, waste, vent. Then fit-off after the waterproofing and tiling go in. Two visits, sometimes three.
Sink relocation, dishwasher point, gas cooktop rough-in, fridge water line, sometimes a butler’s pantry. The most common combined plumbing + gas reno scope.
Washing machine taps, drainage, tub plumbing, sometimes a relocation from old position to a new one as part of a wider reno. Smaller scope than a bathroom but the same fundamentals.
New wet areas in a ground-floor extension or a second storey. New supply runs from the main, drainage to the existing stack, hot water relocation if needed. Largest plumbing scope of the four.
Penrith is in the middle of a renovation cycle that’s been running for years. The new estates in Jordan Springs, Glenmore Park and Caddens are still being built out. The 1970s and 80s brick veneer stock across Cambridge Park, South Penrith and Werrington is being updated by second and third owners.
Two different reno worlds. New-build extras (butler’s pantry, second living, ensuite addition) versus older-home retrofits (kitchen layout changes, ageing bathrooms, gas hot water swaps). Both need a plumber who turns up when the builder needs them.
The unglamorous truth about reno plumbing: the value isn’t just the rough-in, it’s being there on the day your builder needs you to be there. That’s what we’re set up for, locally.
The shape of a reno plumbing job, whether it’s a single bathroom or a full extension. Times vary, the sequence doesn’t.
You or your builder tells us the scope, the date the rough-in is needed by, and the date fit-off is wanted. We confirm we can fit your program.
We come out, walk the space with the drawings, check what’s behind walls and under floors, and write a firm quote covering rough-in and fit-off. Quote is the total, not a daily rate.
Supply lines run, waste & vent installed, gas line stubs where needed, fixture rough-ins set to manufacturer specs. We leave the space ready for waterproofing.
After tiling, we come back, install fixtures, connect supply, test under pressure. Gas appliance commissioning if relevant. Compliance certificate issued at completion.
Show you how to isolate everything, run through any care notes for the fittings, and your 12-month workmanship warranty kicks in. Invoice emailed through to you.
Most of our reno work runs alongside a local builder, but we also work straight with homeowners running their own DIY projects. The standard is the same either way.
Direct answers from a Penrith plumber. If your question isn’t here, send it through and we’ll add it.
Ring the workshop and tell us the scope, the builder if you’ve got one, and the dates you’re working to. We’ll book the on-site walkthrough and quote the plumbing scope.
