Blaxland plumbing, by people who know the lower-mountains block.
Blaxland is a lower-mountains town of fibro and brick homes on sloping bush blocks, many of them renovated more than once. The ground falls away on a lot of streets, so stormwater and drainage are usually the first thing we look at.
That’s the difference between a plumber who runs the highway every week and a city outfit with a map. We’ve been at it 20-plus years and Blaxland is part of our regular run.

A fibro-and-brick town on sloping ground.
Plenty of original pipework and earthenware drainage is still in the ground, and the slope sets the agenda for water.

We check the falls, clear blocked lines and get stormwater well clear of the house before the next big rain.
Roof and guttersBig gums, old earthenware drains.
Roots get into every joint on these blocks. We jet, root-cut and CCTV the line to find the real problem.
Drain workOld copper near the end of the line.
Pinhole leaks and green-tinged joints in the older homes. Often a section replacement does it.
Hot water and pipeworkFrost finds exposed taps.
Outdoor taps and exposed runs cop the cold up here. We repair and lag what the frost has split.
