8 minutes from the workshop
Your Leonay plumber. Over the river, not over the mountains.
Leonay sits across the Nepean at the foot of the Blue Mountains, wrapped around the golf course — eight minutes from our workshop via the M4 and Leonay Parade. We’ve been working its quality brick homes and sloping blocks for more than two decades. You get the same arrival window and the same plumber you’d get standing in the Penrith CBD.
Leonay plumbing, by people who know the golf-course blocks and the slope.
Leonay was built out from the 1970s through the 1990s — quality brick homes wrapped around the golf course, plenty of them on sloping blocks where the land falls away toward the river and the mountains rise behind. It’s a leafy, established pocket, and the plumbing ranges from older copper to better-quality systems put in through the 80s and 90s.
That’s the difference between a Penrith-based plumber who’s worked these streets for two decades and a Sydney plumber driving up the M4 with a “Leonay 2750” landing page.
Eight minutes from us across the river.
The workshop is in Penrith and the M4 drops you onto Leonay Parade in eight minutes. We’re not coming from up the mountains or across Sydney, we’re coming from across the Nepean — and we work standard hours through the week. When we book in, we’ll give you a target arrival window.
We know the sloping golf-course blocks.
Quality brick homes on blocks that fall away toward the river, with the golf course threading through the suburb. Sloping land changes how drainage and stormwater run, and split-level homes complicate hot water runs and waste falls. We’ve worked plenty of them and know what the slope does.
Leafy, established, at the foot of the mountains.
Leonay sits where the Cumberland Plain meets the Blue Mountains, all mature trees and established gardens. We’re across the local network — which streets fall steeply, where mature roots find the drains, and how the older runs were set out. Local knowledge saves you guesswork on the quote.

Leonay was built out from the 1970s through the 1990s on land that falls toward the Nepean, wrapped around the golf course. The slope, the mature trees and the spread of building eras drive the issues we see most — here’s the regular list.
Q.01Sloping blocks
Land that falls away changes how water runs.
Plenty of Leonay sits on blocks that drop toward the river. Stormwater, surface drainage and waste falls all behave differently on a slope, and split-level homes add long runs and awkward grades. We work out where the water actually goes before we quote, so the fix matches the fall of the land.
Leonay’s leafy streets come with decades-old trees, and established root systems find their way into older drainage lines. We jet, root-cut and CCTV the line so you know whether it needs relining or replacing — not a guess, a look down the pipe.
Leonay runs hot through the Western Sydney summer, well above the coast. Standard 10-year hot water units regularly tap out at year seven or eight — same brands, same age, every year. On split-level homes the unit can sit in an awkward spot, but we can usually swap and dispose of the old one in the one visit.
Pressure across Leonay varies with the lie of the land — some blocks sit high and hammer, others run low and weak. Where it’s high, a pressure limiting valve keeps it in check; where it’s low, a booster pump brings it back up. We test the pressure and tell you which one your place actually needs.
Leonay’s good-quality homes attract owners who renovate to keep them that way. We do the plumbing scope for bathroom and kitchen renos, where the older wet-area drainage often needs to come out and start again, and the slope of the block shapes the new runs. Rough-in to fit-off, working to your builder’s program.
The same trucks that service Leonay turn up at these sites.

The questions that come up over and over. Plain answers, no hedging.
Do you actually service Leonay, or just the Penrith side of the river?
Leonay is eight minutes from our Penrith workshop via the M4 and Leonay Parade, so it’s on our regular run across the Nepean. Standard hours are 7am to 4pm weekdays, Mon to Sat. When we book in we’ll give you a target arrival window.
My place is on a steep block. Does that complicate the job?
It can, and we plan for it. On Leonay’s sloping blocks stormwater, drainage and waste falls all run differently, and split-level homes add long runs. We work out where the water goes before quoting, so the fix suits the fall of the land rather than fighting it.
How fast can you get to my Leonay address?
Our standard hours are 7am to 4pm weekdays, Mon to Sat. When we book in we’ll give you a target arrival window, not a four-hour blob. After 4pm and weekends carry an uplifted rate, disclosed before we book in.
My water pressure is weak. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. Some Leonay blocks run pressure low because of where they sit, and the answer there is usually a booster pump. Where pressure runs high and hammers, it’s a pressure limiting valve instead. We test it first and tell you which one your place needs.
Can you handle a full bathroom or kitchen reno plumbing scope?
Yes. Rough-in, fit-off, hot water relocations, gas line extensions, fixture install. We work to your builder’s program, or coordinate the plumbing scope ourselves. On sloping blocks the waste falls take planning — we’ll flag that during the quote, not on the day.
What’s your workmanship guarantee?
12 months on workmanship, parts and labour both. If something we did fails inside that window, we come back and fix it. No excess, no fine print. Manufacturer warranties on units pass through to you separately.
§08 / Book a Leonay plumber
Leonay. Covered. Done properly.
Ring the workshop and book in on the spot. Or send the job through and we’ll come back with a real number within 48 hours. Either way, it’s a Penrith-based plumber on the other end, eight minutes across the river.
